Raqesh Vashisth believes in “giving his best” and not “bother about TRPs”

Sometimes it gets very difficult to juggle between two balls at the same time. Raqesh Vashisth is one living example of this saying.

The good looking actor who is playing the lead in Sony Entertainment Television’s show Hongey Judaa Na Hum might find it difficult to give time to promote his upcoming dance Marathi film Aayna Ka Bayna. “The producer wants me to turn up but I am not sure as to how much time I will be able to devote to it as my first priority is my TV project,” Raqesh maintains.

Further, the actor informs us, “The above Samit Kakkad film was delayed due to its post production work .” Although Raqesh who first came on the scene by way of films like Tum Bin, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai would want to do more screen projects; but time is one big drawback.

“I was offered a Punjabi film, but could not do it as most of my dates are blocked with Hongey Judaa… ,” he puts in. Ask him about his recent film release Heroine, in which most of his scenes were chopped, to which he retorts, “I take life as a learning experience. ”

However, even Hongey Judaa Na… is not doing too well. The show’s early rating(0.8) are not much to write home about ?“ “I don’t believe in TRPs, I just give my best. The passionate love story is just beginning to open up and a lot many interesting plots are waiting to be unravelled,” he observes.

Raqesh also rubbishes recent media reports that suggest that the channel might replace the existing production house Shri Adhikari Brothers with a new player. “All these talks are baseless, all is well on our sets,” he avers.
