PHONE CALL – INSPECTOR Vs INDU SINGH
Indu refuses to surrender, stating that he was innocent – he HAD to find the actual murderer first! Needless to say, Inspector Balram is not impressed. He reminds Indu Singh that investigating a culprit was the duty of the police force and not a civilian’s. Besides, it was the norm for every criminal to protest about his innocence anyway!
Once again, Balram warns Indu to surrender himself at the station if he didn’t want the consequences to become very dire.

‘No Inspector…’ the defiant Indu argues with confidence ‘I don’t fear the consequences… when I’m innocent, I’m not ready to face punishment for no fault of mine… the day I find out about the murderer I shall come to you myself!’
Saying so, he cuts the call.

Unable to do anything else, the inspector hands back the phone to Guddu and orders the boys to leave. However; just as they do – Balram instructs his aide to keep an eye on Indu’s gang since they were bound to visit their ‘bhaiyyaji’ sooner or later.

POLICE STATION
A nervous Mehek and Abhimanyu are trapped behind bars at jail. Glimpsing in all directions, the apprehensive pair remain unaware of what to do. A few moments later, Sobha and Roop arrive at the station and start creating a ruckus – which obviously fails to create any impact on inspector Balram.
Soon after, a well dressed Mr. Rajvir Chauhan also arrives at the station – the father of Mehek Chauhan! While Mehek is relieved, the father also joins in protesting about his daughter’s innocence. However, Balram thwarts his efforts too by informing the unwitting father about the ransom letter Mehek had scripted. Mr. Rajvir does not know how to respond!
Having dealt with the parents, the officer then turns back to the imprisoned pair ‘Both of you better tell us where Indu and Sanchi are hiding…if not you’ll be in grave trouble!’

Hearing the inspector’s words, Sobha sets off on another rant which only ends up infuriating Abhimanyu more. Eventually, the miffed Abhimanyu bursts out – yelling that he had no idea where Indu & Sanchi were and that he was innocent of all crimes!

THE (4 star??) HIDEOUT
Sitting beside a window in the (resort-styled??) hideout, Sanchi has tormenting flashbacks of her conversations with her parents. At one point, the silent girl appears quite devastated when she recollects how disappointed they’d been by her.
Pacing around the hall – an unnerved and disturbed Indu glances at his subdued wife now and again. At some point, he finally decides to walk up to her.

When he gently calls out to Sanchi, the aggrieved girl breaks down into a volley of tears. Standing in front of him she confesses that she felt her world had come to an end.
Saying so, she walks away from his presence and leans beside a wooden pillar – quietly sobbing to herself.
Watching her sorry state, the emotional young man joins her. Weighing his words carefully, he speaks up – his tone as tender as could be ‘Sanchi ji.. do you remember.. one day…when we’d met for the first time…I’d seen a girl in you that was capable of fighting against anyone for the sake of ‘truth’!’

His words compelling her to look up, she waits for him to continue – her tears momentarily pausing.
Staring into oblivion, the composed Indu confesses mildly ‘It was this trait of your’s that made me fall in love with you in the first place!’
Not having expected the confession, she stares at him agape. Nevertheless, realizing what he’d just uttered, Indu modifies his statement ‘I mean this trait had made me fall in love with you BACK THEN!’
While Sanchi sadly turns away once again, Indu continues ‘Today, when its the matter of proving your own ‘truth’…your ‘innocence’, you’ve dropped arms and surrendered! You’ve accepted defeat…at one point there was a time when we all could have accepted defeat but not you…Sanchi ji, you trust the Lord don’t you…just keep up your faith…our problems will be solved soon’

Seeing that she was continuing to cry facing away from his gaze, Indu holds her shoulder and turns her towards him – his expressions full of care and concern ‘Sanchi ji…I believe that we will soon come out all of this mess very soon’
While the helpless girl stares at him, he picks up her palm and tenderly wraps it within his hand ‘I just need your support…that’s all…if I have your support…then I can fight against all the problems in this world’

Responding to his compassionate gestures, Sanchi eventually lifts her other palm and wraps it around his fist as though completing the bond. Amidst her tears, she admits aloud ‘I’m with you Indu Singh… I have full confidence in you’
As the touched young man proceeds to wipe her tears, Sanchi seems to give in to the tenderness of the moment and rests her head against his chest.
Savouring the rare spell of closeness between them, he delicately wraps her head in his hand – caressing her hair with his eyes closed (while the telltale romantic RJN tune plays in the background for the longest we’ve heard so far!)

However, Indu’s gang members (silly boys) had to come at that very second to spoil this extremely RARE moment between the two. A loud series of knocks on the front door brings the couple to their senses and they step away from each other (though must admit they separate on a more amiable note, not out of embarrassment!)

Yogi and Lucky storm into the hall and inform their ‘bhaiyyaji’ that the police were keeping close tabs on them and that Indu and Sanchi needed to be vigilant. Indu reverts to his ‘troubled’ mode and starts wondering on how to trace the killer!

MISHRAJI’S LODGE
A fidgety Mishraji is locking the doors of his lodge when the lights suddenly go off. Just as he lights a candle, he notices that a gun was pointed at his head. Shivering in fright, he asks the assailant what he wanted. The shrouded man holds up a paper for Mishraji to read – with instructions on them.

THE 4 STAR HIDEOUT
Meanwhile Yogi is advicing a pensive Indu to have his sim-card changed. Following this, the boys vow to remain loyal and supportive to Indu however his situation turned out to be.
Their supportive words making the man emotional, Indu then goes on to fume about his sorry predicament ‘We need to find some form of clues that’d lead us to the murderer…we have no other option to escape imprisonment and punishment’

Just then Indu gets Mishraji’s call on his cell phone. As per the instructions of the masked attacker, Mishraji tells Indu that he’d suddenly recollected a few incidents. Telling Indu that he’d inform them about everything personally, he manages to get their hideout address and hands it over to the armed invader.

After doing so, an intensely relieved Indu Singh informs Sanchi and his friends about the latest developments. Feeling optimistic, the group wait in hope for Mishraji to turn up at their doorstep sometime later! However, little did they know that the assailant had a gun pointed at the terrified Mishraji’s forehead, twisting the lodge owner’s arm to carry out another task!

Some time later…
The fretful Indu prances about the dark room – frustrated that Mishraji hadn’t turned up yet! While doing so, he casually mentions that Mishraji’s voice seemed a little shakier than usual during their conversation.
Sanchi has a flash of realization – something seemed awry!
‘If you felt that something seemed wrong…why did you give Mishraji our address?’ she questions Indu anxiously ‘Who knows if Mishraji has joined hands with that murderer?’

Indu does not know what or how to reply – he didn’t think he had any other way out ‘If Mishraji wants to help us… then his clues will lead us to the murderer…if not, then its the murderer who’s carrying out all of this’
‘What if the attacker is planning to come here…’ Sanch panics ‘Along with Mishraji?’
‘Well…then…only if our attacker tries following us, will we be able to learn something about him too’ the determined Indu responds

POLICE STATION
Manwa confesses all about their kidnapping drama to the inspector. Having listened to their entire story, Balram concludes by shouting back at the pair – demanding to know who’d murdered Rubina.
Quivering in nervousness, Mehek goes on to reveal the 2nd part of the story – about how they’d managed to find an already-assaulted Rubina on that fateful night!

Just then, the interrogation is interrupted when the station receives a call. The caller is none other than Mishraji following the threats of the intruder in his lodge. Trembling in fear, the old man gives the police the address of Indu and Sanchi’s hideout!

PRECAP
Indu is furious, wondering who informed the police about their hideout. A short while later their hideout is surrounded by armed policemen.
