Tiwaris
Sadanand Tiwari and Shukla are harping on about how their luck had not been favouring them lately – be it with Shukla’s failed attempts on Swetha’s life or Sada’s futile efforts to track Mehek down.
Following this, Sadanand calls for Sushil and interrogates his brother if he had noticed any developments
‘No nothing much to report other than the fact that I saw Mehek leaving the house 15-20 minutes ago’ Sushil reveals
This news sets Tiwari’s cognitive wheels in motion ‘After speaking to Sanchi, Mehek must have returned to the Mathur residence from the pharmacy’.
The scheming man then wonders if Sanchi and Indu could actually be hiding just opposite, in the Mathur’s residence, after all.
‘We need to find out… we have no other go’ says a fretful Shukla

Mathur’s
Having finished their breakfast, Veena orders Sanchi to bring the used cutlery from Indu’s room. Nodding her head, Sanchi is about to walk up to the stairs when a sudden banging on their front door startles one and all. Veena, Tarachand, Sanchi and even Indu, who’s in his room are intrigued by the impatient banging on the front door.
Sanchi is worried – if it was the police, they would be in grave trouble. Contemplating on the matter, she tells her worried father that there was no other go, but for her to temporarily hide with Indu. When the concerned parent asks where she would go to hide, Sanchi just advices him to allow a few more minutes to lapse, before they opened the door.

Indu’s room
Dashing off to Indu’s room, she comes to face with an equally anxious Indu
‘What’s going on? Is there a problem’ he questions tensely
‘I don’t know…could be the police too… we need to hide for now’ she blurts, while gasping for breath
Darting a few glances around the room, she notices how it was strewn all over with Indu’s items and artefacts. Hastening her pace, Sanchi picks up a plastic cover and starts dumping his belongings in, as she instructs her partner ‘By the time I collect all of your items, please go and wear your kurta’
While Indu hurries off to do as told, Sanchi places the bag on the bed ‘Keep all of these things with you…no one should have a hint of the fact that we are staying here’

The nervous girl then turns around and spots the tray that held Indu’s used cutlery. Deftly picking it up, she slides it under the bed.
‘But where shall we hide?’ he queries her, as he frantically grabs his tunic. He tries to put it on top of his head and then pull it down. However, either due to his injury or due to the agitation, he finds himself stuck halfway through.
Watching him struggle with his head buried in his tunic, the engrossed Sanchi casually struts up to him and helps him pull it down his head – like it was something they did every other day. Continuing to be absorbed in her thoughts, Sanchi replies ‘I’ll tell you where we’ll hide…’
(this has to be the unintentionally cutest scene ever!)

The hall
With the knocks on the door becoming increasingly violent, Tarachand and Veena eventually give in and open the door – they are surprised to be faced by an incensed group of Shukla, Tiwari and Sushil.
‘Are you deaf? Or were you taking your own sweet time to help Indu and Sanchi hide… now tell me where they are hiding…’ Tiwari demands wrathfully

Sanchi and Indu apprehensively watch the entire episode from upstairs, as Tarachand attempts to drive the intruders away, warning them that he’d call the police!
However, Tiwari is ever-ready with his barrage of shrewd warnings and legal blackmails to corner the Mathurs into relative defeat. Following a few angry altercations, Tiwari and Sushil require little might to push the handicapped father out of their way and to barge into the house.
The helpless Tarachand is forcefully restrained and then hurled around the hall, while Tiwari instructs Sushil and Shukla to split into different search parties ‘Search every nook and cranny…upstairs…downstaris…everywhere..’
(Tiwari has acted so well in this part and this entire part was directed very realistically!)

Ransacking the house, Shukla, Tiwari and Sushil make a thorough investigation of the different rooms – inside the cupboards, under the beds, inside sideboards, under the carpets, behind curtains.

Master bedroom
Indu and Sanchi finally make their way to the master bedroom, followed by Sushil’s appearance a few moments later. For a brief moment, we are led to believe that Indu and Sanchi decided to hide inside the large cupboard. However, once Sushil makes a brief inspection of the room and then proceeds to open the cupboards, we quickly realize that the secretive pair had taken temporary refuge under the bed instead.

While the comical Sushil ends up getting absorbed in the array of cosmetic items in the cupboard, Indu and Sanchi decide to take advantage of his absence of mind and slide out. Indu is all too tempted to give his uncle a sound thumping on his head, but is wisely stopped by Sanchi and dragged away from there. The silly uncle fails to detect their escape just as he had failed to detect their presence.

In another part of the house, Tiwari and Shukla are serious in their mission – they spare no pains in turning the house topsy turvy. Room after room, the determined villains scour everywhere in order to discover the truth. However, Sanchi and Indu manage to remain out of their view – Not restricting themselves to any one hideout, the couple keep moving from one place to another to evade detection. The cat and mouse game provides us many moments of thrilling misses and near misses in and around the verandahs and rooms.

Forgetting what he had come to the house for, Sushil starts becoming increasingly absorbed in his new environment – admiring his reflection in the mirror, strolling in the room and helping himself to some water. Its only when Tiwari barges in and threatens to give his brother a sound thrashing that Sushil reverts to the original assignment
‘I searched everywhere…but they are not here’ he confesses sadly
‘They WILL BE HERE ONLY’ shouts the stubborn Tiwari

The threesome once again resume their business in the room. Its only When Tiwari steps out to peep into the balcony do we see where Indu and Sanchi had shielded themselves for then – precariously perched from a small elevation on an external wall of the mansion. Thankfully their presence remains obscured from Tiwari’s and Shukla’s glances.

Frustrated by how their pursuit had returned them nothing, Tiwari begins reminiscing on how the mansion and rooms had once been his. However, abruptly shaking him out of his reverie, Shukla advices Tiwari to follow him downstairs.

Hall
While all the rummaging had been going on upstairs, Indu and Sanchi make their way in from outside and come down into the hall. Spotting the emerging couple, Tarachand and Veena guide their daughter towards the downstairs bedroom. Taking the cue, the pair swiftly make their way to yet another retreat, before their hunters could come down.
When the vicious group do eventually come down, Tarachand once again makes an effort to bring a halt to their carnage, but is thwarted callously.
‘We’ll take a last shot at snooping around…’ Tiwari instructs his fellow men ‘If we find anything good for us, if not our luck is bad as it is!’
Not minding Tarachand’s objections, the three men burst into the downstairs bedroom.

Downstairs bedroom
Squeezed within the dark and narrow confines of the wardrobe, Indu stands beside Sanchi in the midst of neatly hanged clothes. Gazing at Sanchi’s dangerously-close profile, the young man admits ‘Shall I tell you one thing…love has never given me an opportunity to come close to you…but adversity has brought us close to one another…’ Sanchi looks up to him in disgust as he prods on ‘What do you say…tell me..’
‘Stop uttering nonsense and stand quietly’ Sanchi responds, clenching her teeth furiously

Just then, the pair hear some noises from outside – it was Tiwari and Shukla creating a furore as they stormed into the room to make another inspection.
The obscured Indu and Sanchi stare at each other worriedly for a few moments, when an unexpected development turns up. Something ends up irritating Sanchi’s nose and the girl is about sneeze out loudly. An aghast Indu watches her distressed face for a second or two and then proceeds to save their secret in the nick of time. Pinching her nose, Indu holds it for her to stop her from sneezing, while Sanchi looks on puzzled.

However, their brief respite is again lost when Indu and Sanchi learn from the conversations outside that the men were going to search their cupboard. Tarachand and Veena watch on in horror as Sadanand ultimately opens one set of doors – the pair are not to be seen!
Just as Sadanand opens the set of doors that Indu and Sanchi were actually hiding behind – fortunately for them, Shukla interrupts him ‘I think we are wasting our time here…as though Indu and Sanchi are actually going to be hiding within this cupboard’ The irony!

Much to the relief of the powerless family, the group decide to eventually make their way to the exit. Charging out of the house animatedly, Tiwari spews out spiteful words only to be returned by Tarachand’s scornful rebuttals.

When Sanchi and Indu are able to make their way out of the cupboard, the couple are more than relieved to take in a few gulps of fresh air.
Recovering from the frightening ordeal, Indu heaves in anger as he paces restlessly ‘That Dasrath Shukla – calling me names…calling me a cheat…I’ll teach him a lesson…and then he’ll never forget my actual name!’
Sanchi becomes irked by Indu’s vindictive stance ‘What you need to plan you don’t and you come up with such statements…’
‘What…what should I plan’ an annoyed Indu questions her
‘If these people could come here searching for us..it only means they suspect we are hiding here…’ a calmer Sanchi goes on to explain ‘ Before they inform the police of their suspicions, we need to bring Shukla’s truth out for all to see…’
Indu deliberates on the issue for a moment and then mentions in a low tone ‘But…for Dasrath Shukla’s truth to be brought out, there’s only one way…’
Glimpsing around, Indu stares into oblivion as an idea takes shape in his mind – his reddened eyes revealing both, resolute and bitterness!

University
Shukla receives a call from Janardhan requesting him to come to the university as soon as he could. Though Shukla wants to know the reason why, Janardhan only reitertaes his statement, asking him to come at his earliest. Leaving behind an unhappy Tiwari, Shukla nervously makes his way to the university.
Reaching the campus, he finds students amassed in a rebellion, demanding justice for the student – Swetha Jha. The man becomes bewildered, wondering what could be the reason for the sudden uproar. Hoping he was not in any form of trouble, he slides towards Janardhan’s room quietly to investigate the scenario.
On reaching the room, Shukla wastes no time in enquiring about the reason for the uprising. The answer is as shocking as could be – that Swetha Jha had succumbed to her injuries and died!
While Janardhan is overwhelmed by the circumstances, the entire turn of events sends Shukla into a whirlwind of thoughts. He begins delving on the latest news in a positive light – what he’d wanted to do intentionally, had taken place inadvertently.

Watching Shukla’s expressions, Janardhan begins suspecting the authenticity of his response to the girl’s death. However, the latter cleverly makes up for it in no time. While professor Janardhan returns to his musings, Shukla remains elated by the happenings – Now there was no one to play witness to his dastardly deeds and Indu was the only one implicated in all crimes.

Precap
Shukla is informing Tiwari of Swetha’s death…and Tiwari wants to celebrate with drinks!
Indu and Sanchi are secretly watching and overhearing all of it – Indu is furious and vows revenge!
