Sarita to be asked to undergo virginity test in Zee TV’s Punar Vivah

Zee TV’s Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed(Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd) is all set to witness an interesting twist in its storyline with Raj (Karan V Grover) feeling more protective about Sarita (Srishty Rode) than he did earlier.

As seen so far, Raj and Sarita are married to each other but the former is still in love with Divya (Rubina Dilaik). Hence Sarita asks her husband to get her married to another man. An apologetic Raj starts looking out for a suitable groom for Sarita. Later, Rohan (Abhishek Malik) who comes to see Sarita ends up falling for Raj’s sister Sheela (Nazea Sayed).

Sheela and Rohan are all set to get engaged and their engagement ceremony will be aired this Saturday (13 July 2013). It will be a maha episode that will see the merger of Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films) and Punar Vivah.

Furthermore, during their engagement ceremony, Raj will select another groom for Sarita, but he will also end up rejecting him on that very day. As a source tells us, “This man will ask Sarita to get a virginity test done before they get married. And this will anger Raj to no extent. Hence he will end up pushing the prospective groom out of the ceremony.”

When we contacted Srishty, she avers, “Yes, Raj is turning protective about Sarita, but he is yet to realise the same.”

Does this mean that love will finally blossom between Raj and Sarita? “I have no idea about that yet,” states the actress.
