Smita gives the credit to the writer of the show because of his work her character is popular on screen today as she says; “It’s also because the writer’s work is so well about my character that it’s so popular on screen. It’s a complete beautiful character without any shades of grey with each and every relation I play whether it’s as a wife, mother or a daughter-in-law. I truly enjoy my role and have received a lot of appreciation when I go to parties and events saying that we also want a mother-in-law like you.”

So does Sumitra’s character play an important role in influencing many women , she averts, “Yes definitely it has but I also feel the relationship between a daughter-in-law and mother-in-law has changed a lot from what things used to be earlier. Nowadays mother-in-laws have become very loving, understanding and supportive towards their daughter-in-law. The entire scenario has changed and off course my character also does influence the masses.”

Well Smita, We wishes you all the best with this show and hopes that you keep entertaining your fans as always.
