Team of Sasural Simar Ka ‘welcomes the rains’ with a ‘cooking session’ on the sets

Recently we reported about the shoot of Zee TV’s upcoming show Jodha Akbar put to a halt due to the torrential rains lashing Karjat.

The latest is that the shoot of Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions) also faced similar issues in the last few days.

The team of Sasural Simar Ka was on an outdoor schedule and the continuous rains did not provide scope for any shoot to continue. However, the unit members were in a jolly mood and wanted to celebrate the arrival of monsoons in a great way.

And can you guess what they decided? Well, a fabulous meal to be cooked for the team of Simar!! And the person who donned the chef’s hat on the day was director Pawan Sahu. Our source told us that the director decided on cooking delicious delicacies on the sets of the show. And he got everyone present on the sets to help him in his culinary adventure.

When we spoke to Manish Raisinghania aka Siddhant, he shared, “Yes, we had a blast on our outdoor sets where we also cooked our lunch.

Overall, we enjoyed the rains with sumptuous food.”

Aah, one can’t think of a better way to please the stomach on a rainy day…
