The episode begins with Thapki laying in her room..she remembers Dhruv confession to her and tell her he loves her. Her mom walks in and asks if shes still in bed. Thapki tells her she will be up in a bit. Her mom goes to prepare her breakfast.

Bihaan is seen fixing a bulb..it keeps going on and off. his father tells him to fix it becuase his mother will get upset if she sees it. Behaan takes a stick and breaks the bulb and tells his father he will get a new one.

Dhruv’s mother comes to see Bauji with shagun thali..she sees the broken bulb and asks how did it break..bauji asks where is she going with shagun thali..she tells him about Dhruv agreeing for marriage and she chose thapki. He sends her off to Thapki’s house telling her that sasu maa (bauji’s mother) went to temple and she should go alone with shagun.

Dhruv’s mom reaches thapki’s house (followed by suru and duru lol)
They say this place is like a dumb and who lives here..dhruv’s mom doesnt tell them who she choose for dhruv but tells them they met her already.
Thapki’s mom opens the door and greets dhruv’s mom..welcoming her after she tells them shes dhruv’s mom. Dhruvs mom explains she came to ask for their daughters hand in marriage and holds the shagun thali asking them to accept it. The parents stand surprised and shocked..thapki also walks in and witnesses this. Her parents mentions about thapki’s “draw back”..dhruvs mom says she knows about it (she thinks its about thapki’s family financial situation).

Thapki in the meantime stands shocked and keeps having flash backs of how her previous engagement took place..etc

Thapki’s sister brings her and dhruvs mom makes her sit, puts the dupatta on her head and gives her shagun – the family’s bangles given by dhruvs grandmother. Thapki sits quite and having flash back of her past broken marriage
