Pretty Aparna Dixit who was in a supporting role in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, she is all set to be seen in the lead role Purvi in Sony Pal’s Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai. She talks about her role in detail with us.

After playing a supporting role in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, you have gone a step ahead and bagged the main lead role in Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai. So how excited are you?

I am very much excited with this show and I am literally shivering with the happiness and excitement. Yes, this is my first proper TV soap where I will be portraying a main stream character. Along with this I have lot of responsibilities as I have to stand up to all the expectations led towards me. So with the excitement I am burdened with pressure to work efficiently with this show.

How did you bag the role of Purvi in Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hain?

I was doing Pavitra Rishta and Ekta Ma’am saw and noticed me. It is basically my first show as a proper TV soap where I get to showcase my talent and with this I got to know that she likes me so I had that pressure of proving myself so I gave a look test for the role. Then I got a call from Ekta Ma’am for the selection which made me very happy. Now I have a lot of pressure to do justice with the role and show.

Can you please elaborating on your character of Purvi?

Purvi is very simple and an intelligent girl but she cannot stand ill-mannered boys and awara ladke and so she has to revert them back every time they come her way. She cannot avoid it and always stands for the right thing. At home she shares very good bond with all her family member and stays in a happy family.

What do you have to say about your co-star Navi Bhangu, who has done many shows before?

Navi Bhangu plays his character with so interest and fun that I get to improvise my scenes easily. He works very efficiently with full concentration and works wholeheartedly that is commendable. He always build my confidence by appreciating the work and encouraging it.
