Tumhari Paakhi to get an extension?

The much loved show Tumhari Paakhi produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions is all set to get an extension on Life OK. We had earlier reported that the show which stars Iqbal Khan and Shraddha Arya was a finite show with set number of episodes which will come to an end in the last week of March and the telecast on 28th March was supposed to be the last episode.

However, as per our source going by the popularity and also due to no new shows being ready for the channel, the show will most probably get an extension, “We all have seen that Tumhari Paakhi is being liked by all for the excellent storyline as well as the lead pair – Anshuman (Iqbal Khan) and Paakhi (Shraddha Arya) who share an excellent chemistry on screen. That is the reason the show might just go on even after completing 100 episodes and more in the end of March.”

That Life OK is not ready with its new shows might also be the reason that the show will get an extension, “There are no new shows coming up on the channel as otherwise earlier decided so it was in the best interest of the channel too to extend a show which is popular with its audience. In fact, recently the show had maha episodes each of one hour duration which was again in favour of the show. And then they shot for an exciting promo which has a face-off between Paakhi and Tanya (Madhura Naik). The story is on an interesting turn now with Paakhi deciding to fight for her rights and daring Tanya to prove herself to be a better wife to Anshuman and mother to Ayaan. Tanya has accepted the challenge and thus the show has gotten to be more interesting.”

We spoke to produce Shashi Mittal who did not give a confirmation but at the same time said that they would be happy to get an extension, “I have not heard anything from the channel as yet but yes, if Tumhari Paakhi does get an extension we will be more than happy.”

We are sure fans too will be more than happy to see the show going on for some more time.
