Vaquar Shaikh roped in for Savdhan India

Life OK’s crime series Savdhan India (Keylight Productions) has been churning out many hard hitting stories featuring some serious social issues.

Now, the show is all set to deal with the issue of flesh trade and talented actor Vaquar Shaikh of Qubool Hai fame has been roped in to play a prominent role for the same.

A source shared that Vaquar will be seen essaying the role of a cop Anil Yadav, who will find a dead body in Aarey colony, Mumbai, and later on it will be revealed that the case was related to flesh trade.

When we contacted the actor, he confirmed the news and said, “I have always loved to play the role of cops and here I am happy to essay one. We have already shot for the sequence in authentic locations. I have always wanted to a social series like Savdhan, but unfortunately was not getting time to do one. Now, finally I am happy to do this.”

This story will be a special sequence for Savdhan Maharashtra mega series, which will be aired for an entire week.
