When Raj Singh got the opportunity to meet the ace filmmaker Raj Barjatya

Like every actor, Raj Singh who is presently seen in Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (Rajshri Productions) harbours dreams of testing his acting credentials on the big screen. The best part is that Raj, in fact, got an opportunity to express this desire of his, with none other than the ace filmmaker Raj Barjatya.

It so happened that the ‘grand old man’ called on Raj in his make-up room to have a hearty conversation with him as he is a new introduction in their show, Pyaar Ka Dard.

Narrating the incident, Raj told us, “It was pleasing to see Rajji talking to me near my make-up room. After exchanging few pleasantries, he went on to talk about the making of Nadiya Ke Paar. He also recalled the moment when he decided to make a love story for the next generation with Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. The moment he said this, I took the opportunity to let him know that he can consider me in case he plans to make a trend-setter love story for today’s masses.”

‘Pyaar se muje log Raj Babu bolte hain’, is the manner in which Raj Barjatya introduced himself to Raj Singh. Raj went on to share with us that, “At home, when I am with my parents, uncle and elders, they do call me as Raj Babu. So I made it a point to tell this to Rajji that we share the same pet name (smiles).”
