I will never get into a false relationship to enter Nach Baliye – Mohammad Nazim

Mohammad Nazim is quite happy with the progress of his hit Star Plus show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions). His on screen character of Ahem is once again getting married in the show. So we decided to ask him when he will get hitched in real life.

Replying to our question, Nazim said, “Not at the moment, for right now my main focus is on my career.

My Punjabi film (Full Fukrey) will release in September while the other will soon go on floors. I am also on the lookout for a good break in Hindi films. So I will think of settling down only after two or three years.”
We then turned our attention to the recent media reports which indicated that his on screen wife Devoleena Bhattacharjee and on screen brother Vishal Singh were trying to stitch up a false relationship in an effort to enter the upcoming season of Nach Baliye. Answering our query, Nazim said, “Why should I comment on what she is doing, she is just my co-star and not my wife.” So what about speculations that the two of you might be involved? “All that is hogwash. People start assuming things as we spend long hours together.”

So would you try to create a false relationship to enter Nach, we asked to which he responded saying, “No ways, if I wanted to do a dance based reality show, I could have easily done Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which has been offered to me twice. Doing this Colors’ format makes more sense as you don’t even need to have a Baliye, plus you learn dance from a trained choreographer. Having said this, I will never get into a false relationship just to get into Nach Baliye.”

He went on to say, “The only reason why I turned down the offer was because I would have had to leave Saathiya like the Giaa Maanek episode (she signed Jhalak along with Saathiya), owing to our exclusivity contracts. And had I chosen Jhalak over Nach, I would have been accused of doing things for money. I prefer to work for passion, money is not important as I am earning well in my daily as well.”
Before closing, Nazim said, “I consider myself a decent dancer who is learning all the way.”

Nazim, we hope you entertain your fans in the near future with your dancing shoes on.
