How important is money to you?

It is extremely important to me.

Are you an impulsive buyer?

Not really for I give it a thought, weigh the possible pros and cons before buying a particular thing.

What are the investments that you have made?

I haven’t made any lately but my last investment was the house I currently live in.

What has been your most expensive purchase?

My most expensive purchase till date has to be my current house which is situated at Andheri, Mumbai.

Do you feel financially secure?

Yes, I am financially secure.

Who handles your expenses?

My wife Gauri handles all my expenses.

What was your first salary?

My first salary was Rs.6000, when I was doing my articleship with a firm during my Chartered Accountancy course.

How much money do you carry every day?

I carry a mere amount of around Rs 100- 200 everyday. I always carry my cards because they come handy.

Your advice to new investors?

My advice to new investors is to invest carefully and also save simultaneously. Investments and savings go hand in hand. Especially in an industry like ours, where there is so much uncertainty about work opportunities, it is important to maintain savings.
