Shanti says we will die of hunger here otherwise. Shesh appears at their doorstep with a container in his hands. No one will die because of hunger. You can feed the kids now. Shanti says I told you I don’t want your help anymore. Shesh calls it his duty. Kids are hungry. They will fall ill if they wont eat. Shanti says I am not dumb to not understand how things work in the society. Every person of this village wants us to die after finding out what my husband has done! You might be one of them. This might be your way of seeking revenge. Shesh says you are like my mother. Ajji is my Ajji to. Please have faith on me. Shanti refuses again. Her health worsens again. Her MIL holds her. Shanti says we don’t need anyone’s help. We don’t trust anyone anymore. She falls on the floor. Her MIL and kids panic. Shesh says her asthma has worsened. She needs medicine. Shanti’s MIL says there is no medicine at home and she never got herself treated.
Sai looks at the ropes for a few seconds and they come off. He sits next to Subhan and takes out udi from his bag.
On the other hand, Shesh takes out an empty pot. He looks up for a few seconds. Sai mixes a bit of udi in a small glass. Udi appears magically in Shesh’s pot too. He smiles. He asks Shanti’s MIL to mix this udi in water and give to Shanti. She calls it ash but Shesh explains that this is udi. Shanti’s MIL looks on helplessly. Shesh says you are experienced. You can understand the difference between right and wrong in a second. Do I look like I intend to hurt someone? Are my intentions wrong? He asks Somu to bring water. Shesh mixes water in udi and mixes it. He feeds it to Shanti. She calms down within a few seconds.
Sai is applying udi on Subhan’s wound when the little kid wakes him up. Subhan gets up and points his knife at Sai. What were you doing to my feet? He checks the ropes. How did you get free? The knot was very tight. Sai says I couldn’t see you in pain. I applied udi so you can be relieved of your pain. Subhan asks Sai how He got free. I caught you in ropes. Sai winces as He stands. I am still your captive. I never wished to run away. Let me do what I want to. Subhan wonders why Sai dint actually run away when He had the chance. The kid says there would be a plan. Sai knew that He wont be able to open the door with one hand. He would have tried but failed. Think it through. This is a sham! He will flee from here if you let Him go. Why will He be nice to you when you have held him captive here? Sai tries to apply udi to Subhan’s wound but he stops Sai. He looks at Sai’s wound. You are hurt as well. Why dint you apply it on your wound when you are hurt too? Sai says how I could treat myself when you are wounded too. I want to treat your pain. Aren’t you tired of living like this? We may be strong but everyone needs help at some point. I am only extending my hand towards you.
Shanti looks at her kids. Her MIL tells her that Shesh appears to be a nice guy. He saved your life today. Shanti asks Shesh why He is helping them when the entire village is against them. Shesh says humanity is above all relations. Even I was hungry once and someone had fed me. I was just doing the same. Please have food now.
Sai requests Subhan to let him apply udi on his wound. Subhan refuses and ties Sai’s hands yet again. Subhan is looking for something in the cupboard. He empties a bag with onions and potatoes and writes a note on it.
Everyone is eating food at Subhan’s place. Shesh requests Shanti to eat as well. She says I don’t know whether he (Subhan) would have eaten anything. Her MIL says you used to push him away when he was here. Why are you crying now? Shesh says she loved and still loves her husband immensely which is why she never left her. She had problems with his actions / choices. She would have left him long ago if she dint love him. She might have otherwise encouraged him in his wrongdoings. Shanti’s MIL apologizes to Shanti. I know you did the right thing but one speaks bitterly when they are hurt. Shanti stands up. You (Shesh) are helping us since you have come here. It is as if God has come to our house in your avatar. I misunderstood you. Please forgive me son. Shesh says a mother never apologizes to her kids. Everyone smiles.
Subhan has written a warning note for the villagers. I will kill you if anyone will try to stop me! I just have to throw it outside. Sai asks him till when he will run. Surrender now. Ram ji will forgive you. The kid says He wants people to praise Him and follow Him by forcing you to surrender.
Ladies have brought food for those sitting outside. The kids refuse to eat thinking about Sai. Keshav, Tatya, Govinda, Ali, Bheema and a few villagers approach the house from behind. They are holding sticks in their hands. Govinda asks Keshav if they are doing the right thing. Keshav says we have sent someone to call police from the other village. We will attack from this side as Subhan must be focusing on the front gate only. Sarkar says Hari Om. They all look at Sarkar in shock. Santa and Banta stand next to Sarkar. Sarkar tells them not to attack. You all followed your heart when I was away but not anymore! Now I will be the one who will take action!
Precap: Tatya says I neither trust Sarkar nor his words. We all know what he wants. We cannot put Sai’s life at risk because of him. Keshav says we must do something to save Sai. He tells a plan.
